Welcome to the e-Learning Platform and Online Course (SPOOC) of the ABA-VR project.
As part of our commitment to offering accessible and innovative training, we have developed an e-Learning Platform in a SPOOC (Self-Paced Open Online Course) format. This educational platform is specifically designed for higher education students and professionals working with individuals on the Autism Spectrum (ASD).
Our platform brings together the most effective methodologies and strategies of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) to provide a solid theoretical and practical foundation. Because it is a self-paced course, you can access the material whenever you want, progress according to your availability, and selectively choose the topics that interest you the most without being tied to strict start or end dates.
Inside the platform, you will have free access to the following resources:
- 20 Video Tutorials: Detailed visual guides that will teach you how to use Behavioural Skills Training (BST), how to implement our Virtual Reality (VR) tools, and how to adapt or differentiate instruction based on the specific needs of each individual.
- Theoretical and Practical Modules: Content structured into basic and advanced modules on the ABA method and the latest tools that can be incorporated into teaching new skills and managing challenging behaviours.
- Personal Learning Environment (PLE) and Learning Paths: A dynamic experience that goes beyond static theory. The platform will guide you through personalised Learning Paths, connecting you with at least 25 digital tools and recommending resources, educational games, applications, and forums tailored to the different levels and grades of ASD.
